announced during the last Nintendo DirectNintendo Switch Sports is a continuation of the original Wii game and recreates many of its classic minigames using the motion support of the console’s Joycon controllers.
It will feature six sports to play, three of which were featured in the original Wii Sports games, including tennis, bowling, and chambara (which was contained within the Wii Sports Resort).
The three additional sports joining the schedule are football, badminton and volleyball.
The football minigame features an oversized ball and goals. It also comes with a ‘shootout’ mode that lets you use an optional ‘leg strap accessory’ to attach a Joycon controller to your leg. By doing this, you will be able to time your character’s ticks with your own limbs.
The game will support local as well as online multiplayer for all sports.
